1.Begin with approximately six feet of C-Lon size D beading thread and leave the bobbin attached. String four Miyuki 8/0 Triangle beads (TR8).
2. Moving from left to right pass back through the second to last TR8 on the needle end. This will begin ladder stitch.
3. Pull thread to secure so the beads lay side by side.
4. Moving from left to right pass through the next TR8.
5. Pull thread to secure. Moving from left to right pass through the next TR8.
6. Pass down through the TR8 to the right and back up through the TR8 to the left to reinforce. This completes row 1.
7. String two TR8 beads.
8. Moving right, pass down through the second TR8 in row 1 and up through the third. This begins herringbone stitch.
9. String two TR8 beads.
10. Pass down through the fourth TR8 in row 1. This completes row 2.
11.Pass the needle under the thread bridge connecting the third and fourth beads in row 1.
12. Pass up through the two TR8 beads at the end of rows 1 and 2.
13. String two TR8 beads.
14. Moving left, pass down through the second TR8 in row 2 and up through the third.
15. String two TR8 beads and pass down through the two TR8 beads at the end of rows 1 and 2.
16. String three TR8 beads, pass through the button shank, and string three more TR8 beads.
17. Pass up through the three TR8 beads on the right edge, exiting in row 3.
18. String two TR8 beads and moving left, pass down through the second TR8 in row 3 and up through the third.
19. String two TR8 beads. Pass down through the three TR8 beads on the left edge and continue through the next three TR8 beads.
20. Pass through the button shank and up through the next six TR8 beads, exiting in row 3.
21. Moving left pass down through the second TR8 in row 3 and up through the third. Pass down through last TR8 in row three and continue through the next five TR8 beads.
22. Pass through the button shank and up through the next seven TR8 beads, exiting in row four.
23. String one Miyuki 4x7mm Long Magatama bead (LMA), one Miyuki 2.8mm Drop bead (DP28), and one LMA. The LMA beads should be strung in opposite directions so that the tips point in towards the DP28.
24. Moving left, pass down through the second TR8 in row 4.
25. Turning right, pass up through the first TR8 in row 4 and continue through the LMA just above.
26. String two TR8 beads.
27. Moving left, pass down through the next LMA.
28. Turning right, pass up through the LMA and TR8 beads on the right edge.
29. String one LMA, one DP28, and one LMA. Pass down through the TR8 to left.
30. Moving right continue through the DP28 and up through the TR8 and LMA on the right edge.
31. Repeat steps 26-30 until the desired length is reached. Finish the last row with the beads positioned as in step 28. Keep in mind the loop end will add one inch to the completed length.
32. String two TR8 beads and pass down through the TR8 to left. Continue through the DP28 and up through the two TR8 beads on the right edge.
33. Return to the beginning of the bracelet and pull approximately six feet of thread from the bobbin.
34. Turn right and pass up through the next four TR8 beads.
35. Complete steps 23-25 on the second side of the bracelet. Repeat steps 26-30 until the two sides are equal lengths. Finish the last row with the beads positioned as in step 28.
36. Repeat step 32.
37. Pass down through the beads on the left edge of the bracelet to secure.
38. Return to the thread on the right edge of the bracelet. String two TR8 beads.
39. Pass down through the second TR8 in the previous row and up through the third. This will bring the two sides of the bracelet together.
40. String two TR8 beads. Pass down through one TR8 bead on the left edge. Pass the needle between the third and fourth TR8 beads in this row. Pass up through the two TR8 beads on the left edge. The working thread will catch on the existing thread.
41. Moving from left to right add another row in herringbone stitch.
42. Pass down through the first TR8 to left and up through the next. Pass down through the TR8 on the left edge.
43. Turn and pass up through the first TR8 to the right and down through the next. Pass up through the TR8 on the right edge.
44. String fourteen TR8 beads.
45. Form a loop by crossing over to the left edge and passing down through three TR8 beads. Follow the thread path (as shown in step 43) to reach the right edge.
46. Continue up the right edge and through the loop of beads to reinforce. Pass down through two TR8 beads on the left edge.
47. Follow the thread path (as shown in step 43) to reach the right edge. Repeat step 46. Pass down through the beads on the left edge of the bracelet to secure.
48. Secure and trim any remaining thread tails.
