I like to think of myself as a "gracefully" aging hippie, that has always had a love of crafts. I began knitting a the age of 6, and later learned to crochet. I discovered beads around the year 2000. I began incorporating beads into my work and the result was my ongoing love of bead crochet.
I have taught at The Bead and Button Show as well as other national beads shows, various Beading Guilds, and the Smithsonian. Now that I no longer teach I have started selling my patterns. I love creating patterns in a variety of mediums, including both beads and yarn, and sometimes, mixing the two.
All my beading, bead crochet and knitting patterns (some with beads and some without) are available through my Etsy Shop. I have also authored a book on bead crochet called Bead Crochet Jewelry, which is sold on Amazon
I have many different designs and patterns but these are among my favorites: The Polygon Weave, Little Dots and Spirals, Silver Threads and Golden Needles, Barbara's Beaded and Lace Long Wingspan Shawlette.
