I’ve been an artist since I was a child. I always wanted to create
something out of something else…a picture out of color, a dress out of
scraps of fabric.
I have a formal education in art with a master’s degree in art education and taught art at every age level.
My focus for the past five years has been jewelry design and painting using seed beads. I love the colors of the beads and color has always been the key element in my work.
Nature is my most frequent source of inspiration. I also enjoy experimenting with mixed media, particularly polymer clay. Some of my newest work includes clay shapes done in the mokume gane technique.
