My name is Isabelle Nadeau and i'm from Quebec, Canada. I am the mother of four wonderful children. I began making bead work during my last pregnancy. My beading started as a hobby but quickly became a real passion.
I constantly wanted to try new and more challenging beadweaving techniques. Once I mastered a technique, I wanted to create my own designs and that is what I have been doing for the past two years. I love all the classic styles and my jewelry are made in this vein. What is better than a piece you can wear with jeans during the day and also with a beautiful evening dress at night?
I love working with Swarovski crystal, firepolished beads and seed beads. The more detailed and difficult the design, the more I enjoy creating it. I find the inspiration in everything around me.
I can see a lamp and the image of my next jewelry project appears in my head. I love making custom orders because each one is unique. I try to see what the customers have in their head and bring it to life. It's a real challenge every time!
Artists often have a cause they want to support, mine is orphan diseases. If you haven't heard of them an orphan disease it is a name for a group of rare diseases that are mostly ignored by drug companies and researchers because they are so uncommon. I created a line of zebra print jewelry and for each one sold I donate a portion of the profit to RQMO, an organization that helps people fighting an orphan disease.
