My name is Ekaterina. I live in beautiful Miami in the United States. From early in my childhood I was always doing something with my hands. Knitting, sewing, embroidering, sculpting with clay or painting, but none of it occupied me for long.
It was only two years ago that I first picked up some sparkling beads. I immediately realized that I wanted to do my beading seriously. In my work I use both bead embroidery and bead weaving.
This year for the first time I participated in the international BeadDreams competition and made it to the finals! I find inspiration all around me, a fantasy movie, a beautiful dress or a butterfly.
I love Japanese seed beads, Swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls and Czech glass beads. My favorite colors are blue, purple, silver, gold, nickel, black, bronze and crystal AB. My dream is to make a this hobby into a full time job.
