1. Begin with about seven inches of C-Flex beading wire. Fold a piece of tape over one end to keep the beads from sliding off. String on nine Miyuki 10/0 Hex Cut Twisted beads (10C-TW).

2. String three 3mm Fire Polished beads (FP).

3. String one 4mm FP bead and one 10C-TW.

4. String one 8mm Swarovski Crystal round. This will mark the center of the earring.

5. String the following to make the second side of the earring. 10C-TW, 4mm FP, three 3mm FP beads, and nine 10C-TW beads.

6. String through one side of a wire guardian.

7. Remove the tape and string through the second side of the wire guardian.

8. Cross the right wire into the left side of the wire guardian.

9. Bring the wire through the wire guardian and several of the 10C-TW beads.

10. Repeat with the left wire going to the right.

11. Pull both wires until all the slack has been taken up.

12. With the chain nose pliers, gently flatten the tube section on each side of the wire guardian.

13. Using the side cutters, trim off any excess wire.

14. Pinch the bottom of the wire guardian (closest to the beads) so that the beads are almost touching.

15. Loop the earwire onto the wire guardian. Repeat instructions to build the second earring.
