Miyuki Seed Bead Sample Cards
No matter how accurate the photography, it is always difficult to tell the exact color of a bead without a sample in front of you. Miyuki Bead Sample Cards are hand-sewn in Japan and allow you to see the exact colors and finishes before you order. Some cards show one finish (such as galvanized) in a variety of sizes and shapes, while others show a large selection of colors in just one size bead (such as 11/0 seed beads). Each card has about a half-inch row of every color sewn next to the item number. At Caravan Beads, we sell the Miyuki sample cards at our cost to make it easier for you to have the selection you need.
Sample cards can be a little bit confusing, as they are updated from year to year to include more colors. We have sorted them by size and shape, but you may look at the 11/0 seed bead cards (for example) and decide not to include one or two if they have a lot of other sizes and shapes on them as well. When figuring out which cards you already own, you can reference the Miyuki card number which appears in the upper right hand corner.
